Now that you have identified the donors/supporters in your database who have expressed interest in a making a planned gift (these are your qualified planned giving prospects), what do you do to motivate them toward formalizing their gift? Legacy Leaders is the only vendor that can help. Over time, we have found that qualified planned giving prospects migrate to either a hard bequest commitment or decide not to leave a bequest to an organization. Through a series of mail and phone touches, conducted over the course of one year, our cultivation/stewardship process will systematically enhance this long-term migration to secure planned gifts and enhance levels of interest.

Our planned giving prospect cultivation and stewardship program includes:
A minimum of 4 touches annually, 2 by mail and 2 by phone
1 phone conversation designed to measure donor migration towards finalizing their planned gift
Timely reports updating completed gift confirmations, telephone contacts made and a summary of coding movement
Upon completion of the cultivation/stewardship year, an analysis report on the progress of the effort and the final results
